The First Parish Players journey began with a simple idea - a fundraiser to begin the 300th anniversary celebration of the founding of First Parish in Bridgewater, and it quickly developed into something much bigger, mostly because of the incredible community created by its members.
The Players' debut performance began as a "pop cabaret" and quickly morphed into a twisted, surprising play about friendship and loss.
Though traces of "Fireflies" only exist in grainy archival footage, we are proud to finally be able to release the full script, written by our founder Tony Winters.

What happens when what we know to be true comes crashing in and we are forced to face a reality we have kept hidden? Who will be there for us when we need them?
